A Shelter for Cancer Families prides itself in meeting families where they are in their cancer journey. We provide support, stability and a place for families who need a safe and comfortable home away from home.
Our mission is to provide stability, shelter and support for families seeking cancer care in the Texas Medical Center.
Who We Serve
We open our doors wide to all cancer families regardless of age, cancer type, income or where they are in their cancer journey. We respect their time, dignity, and privacy, while providing lodging and amenities that meet the specific needs of a family living through cancer - at no cost to the families we serve.
Why We Serve
We are cancer survivors, caregivers and the loved ones of cancer patients. We have lived the journey, and for more than 20 years, we have been a champion for cancer families, while providing a home base during their cancer journey.
How To Help
ASCF was founded on the belief that every cancer family deserves the opportunity to focus on their care without the additional burden of worrying where they will stay, and how they will pay for their accommodations. Volunteers and donors make this all possible.
