WAYS TO VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEERING (2).heic

"No one is more cherished in this world than someone who lightens the burden of another."

The volunteers at A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF) are the heart of our organization. It is through their time and talents that the most remarkable impacts are made on the lives' of our cancer families.

Resident Gatherings

Each month we invite groups to provide a weeknight dinner or weekend donuts and coffee for families in residence.

Celebrations

Help create memorable occasions for our families navigating the cancer journey.

Helping Hands

Throughout the year we invite individuals and groups to help us with keeping ASCF beautiful and safe for our families.

Campus Projects

Individuals, groups and businesses are welcomed to inquire about improvement projects needed or to offer suggestions.

ASCF VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO:
Children under the age of 16 may be able to volunteer for some activities if they are accompanied by a supervising adult.

Additionally, because many of the families we serve have compromised immune systems, ASCF requests that if you and/or a loved one may be ill that you refrain from participation in those activities that require direct contact until a full recovery is made.
